What is the Difference Between a Work Permit and Employment Visa in UAE

A foreigner who wants to live in UAE for a long period needs a Residence Visa. If they want to work in a company, it’s mandatory to secure a work permit in the UAE. The process is started with a legal form called ‘Work Permit’ from MoHRE. The employee can enter the UAE with this valid work permit and it’s valid for 2 months from the date of issue.

After you enter the UAE with the approval you received from the MoHRE, Your sponsor has to complete the legal formalities of the employees like residence visa, Medical fitness test, Emirates ID, and after all, this applies for a labor card. After getting the residence visa, the employee can sponsor their family members in UAE (If they meet the requirements).
